A Girls Trip to Paris & London: Croissants, Castles, & Curtain Calls
Share
Nothing screams iconic quite like a girls trip to Paris. Europe really is always a good idea — and I think the whole world agrees with me on that one. There’s just something about these two cities that feels effortlessly chic, yet buzzing with energy, history, and inspiration.
We kicked things off in Paris, staying at the perfect little hotel near Champs-Élysées, surrounded by shops, charming cafés, and all the dreamy Parisian vibes. Since we landed in the morning, our first order of business was the obvious: croissants and coffee. After freshening up, we hopped on the classic big red bus tour (yes, it's touristy — but yes, it's 100% worth it). It’s one of the best ways to get your bearings, especially if it's your first time in the city. Admittedly, I may have dozed off on the top deck... jet lag is real, okay?
That evening, we booked a Seine River Cruise with dinner — which ended up being one of my favorite experiences. Picture gliding past the Eiffel Tower, sipping wine, eating French cuisine, all while a live singer serenades the boat. If I had to do it again, I’d choose a later cruise to see the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night — but it was magical either way.
Would definitely find an outfit to spruce this dinner up like a chic set or European dress- like our Harbor Bubble Dress. Pair it with heels and a little coat for the perfect night out!
Paris, Day 2: History, Heels & the Moulin Rouge
We booked a private walking tour with a guide to dive into Paris’s history. From charming side streets to iconic landmarks, it was the perfect blend of culture and steps on the pedometer. That night, we got all dressed up for the Moulin Rouge dinner show! Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend the dinner portion (it was underwhelming), but the show itself? Absolute must. The costumes, music, and energy were next level.
Pro tip: this is a great night for a statement outfit — think bold red lips, heels, and something black. Shop my favorite pick- the Edge of Glory Lace Skirt!
Paris, Day 3: Sundays Are for Strolling
Sundays in Paris are slower — many shops are closed, which gave us permission to breathe. We had a lazy morning and headed to Café de Flore for brunch (so worth the hype). Afterward, we strolled by the river, dipped in and out of boutiques, and just let ourselves enjoy the simplicity of the city. That evening, we had dinner at Ralph’s, the restaurant inside Ralph Lauren. It was cozy, elegant, and honestly a little taste of home in the most beautiful setting.
Nothing screams Parisian like a blazer. Style an outfit with a blazer and tennis shoes for a comfortable shopping day! A statement piece would be our Pink Voltage Blazer!
Off to London! Chunnels & Tea Time
On Day 4, we made our way to London via the Chunnel, which was a breeze and so much better than dealing with the airport again. We arrived mid-morning, dropped our bags, and (you guessed it) got back on a red bus tour to explore the layout of the city.
That afternoon, we had tea at Kensington Palace — a literal dream. Everything from the setting to the pastries made us feel like royalty. That night, we went full spontaneous mode, canceled our dinner reservation, and snagged last-minute tickets to Mamma Mia on Broadway. If you’ve never been, go. You’ll be clapping and dancing in your seat.
This was the perfect day to wear something polished and playful — like the Sabrina Corset Dress, which worked beautifully for tea and transitioned perfectly into a Broadway night out.
London, Day 5: Royals, Parks, & Phantom Vibes
We took another guided walking tour through Hyde Park and to Buckingham Palace just in time to see the Changing of the Guard. It was fascinating to watch and even more interesting to hear the history behind the tradition.
And because one Broadway show just isn’t enough — that evening we saw Phantom of the Opera. I still have chills thinking about it. The drama, the voices, the sets... it was everything. If I lived in London, I'd be at the theatre every night. No regrets.
Back to Paris: A Second Slice of Magic
We headed back to Paris for the final stretch of our trip on Day 6, checking into a new hotel in a different arrondissement to explore another side of the city. After settling in, we went to the Louvre and took our time walking through the museum before enjoying lunch at Le Café Marly, which sits right in the Louvre square — elegant, delicious, and totally worth it.
Dinner that night was at a charming Italian spot our concierge recommended. Between the burrata, the pizza, and the pasta, we were in heaven. You really can’t go wrong with food in Paris.
Pro tip: Enter the Louvre with the most iconic outfit for the Mona Lisa, she's very judgmental! My favorite for Paris- The Cafe Club Skort Set.
Versailles, Pink Mamma & a Farewell to France
For Day 7, we booked a tour to Versailles, and the estate was just as jaw-dropping as you’d imagine. From the Hall of Mirrors to the manicured gardens, it was like stepping back in time. A little rain cut our afternoon short, but I’m already dreaming of coming back for a full day.
To end the trip with a bang, we went to Pink Mamma, a funky three-story Italian restaurant you absolutely need reservations for. The vibe? Impeccable. The food? Chef’s kiss. The service? On point. It was such a fun and lively way to toast to an unforgettable trip.
Wearing a day-to-night transition outfit is a must! This set would be fantastic for this spunky restaurant - The Wild Denim Set
Final Thoughts: Paris vs. London? Don’t Make Me Choose.
Both cities are wildly different, and I truly can’t pick a favorite. London feels a bit more spread out and approachable for a longer stay. Paris, though? It’s iconic. The style, the romance, the food... it steals your heart in ways you don’t expect. If you're planning your own trip, I highly recommend packing outfits that make you feel fabulous.
Paris & London, you have my heart. Until next time…
